About us

Charalambos studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the National Technical University of Athens. Moreover, he holds an MPhil in Management Science & Operations from the University of Cambridge, as well as an MSc in Applied Mathematics & Statistics from Johns Hopkins University.

He is currently a Systems Engineering Ph.D. student at Johns Hopkins; his research makes use of mathematical modeling and operations to examine the impact of environmental policies on energy systems.

He mentors students who wish to apply to the University of Cambridge and Johns Hopkins University, as well as students interested in applying for a Ph.D. in the U.S.

Ino studied Biological Sciences and then went on to complete an MA in Bioinformatics, as well as a Ph.D. in Theoretical Genomics at Imperial College London. Moreover, she holds an MA in Public Policy from the Athens University of Economics and Business.

She has worked for research institutes, such as the Demokritos National Centre for Scientific Research, the NSCR, and CNRS. She currently holds the position of Research Program Agent at the European Research Council.

She mentors students who are interested in science policy or pursuing a Ph.D. in Biology.

Antonis studied Civil Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens and then completed an MSc in Civil & Environmental Engineering at the University of Texas Austin.

He has over two years of research and consulting experience, and he currently works in the field of infrastructure risk management as an Engineering Consultant for Grid Engineers start-up company.

He mentors students interested in studying Civil Engineering in the U.S. and students applying to UT Austin in general.

Anastasia studied Philosophy and French at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds an MSc in Media, Communication & Development from LSE.

She has more than 10 years of international work experience as a Communications Manager and has collaborated with powerhouses such as Coca-Cola HBC and Vodafone. She specializes in integrated corporate communications, PR, and strategic planning.

She mentors students interested in pursuing a career in Communications, PR & Digital Marketing, as well as those interested in applying to LSE.

Eleni graduated with a Bachelor’s in Journalism and a minor in History from Boston University.

For over a decade, she has been working as a journalist. She is a contributor to the New York Times and Channel 4, as well as foreign correspondent and producer for SKAI and Kathimerini. Moreover, she is the co-author of the best-selling book “The Last Bluff.”

She mentors students who are interested in the field of journalism.

Alexandros read Mathematics at the University of Oxford and then went on to earn a Master’s in Financial Mathematics from LSE.

For the last 10 years, he has been a trader at Optiver, a leading proprietary market-making company based in Amsterdam, where he leads the Global Derivatives team for Europe.

He mentors students who want to apply to the University of Oxford and LSE and those who wish to study Finance, Mathematics, Economics, as well as students interested in finance and trading.

Demos studied Civil Engineering at the Democritus University of Thrace, and he then completed his postgraduate studies in Structural Engineering at Purdue University.

He resides in New York, where he works as a Bridge Engineer in the U.S. and globally.

He mentors students interested in studying and working in the U.S., in particular those interested in the field of civil engineering.

Konstantinos studied Economics at LSE. He holds two Master’s degrees, one in Human Evolution and Behavior from UCL and one in Psychology of Education from the University of Bristol.

He has a flourishing career in Consulting and Business Development. In Tokyo, where he lives permanently, he is the Executive Director of the Greek Chamber of Commerce of Japan.

Being an LSE alumnus in Japan, he mentors those interested in applying to LSE and anyone interested in working in Japan.

Panayiotis read Law at the University of Oxford and then went on to earn a Master of Law (LLM) from the NYU School of Law. Furthermore, he holds a Master’s in Business Law from the University Pantheon Assas.

He is currently an associate at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, where he specializes in international dispute resolution.

He mentors students who are interested in a career in the field of business law, as well as applicants to the University of Oxford.

Aliki studied Chemical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens. Subsequently, she earned a Master’s degree in Management of Technology and Entrepreneurship from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL).

Aliki specializes in Project Management and Supply Chains and has worked for companies such as Nestlé. She is currently a project manager at Philip Morris.

She mentors students interested in studying in Switzerland, specifically at EPFL.

Viktoria studied Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at the University of Oxford and then completed a Master’s degree in Economics at UCL.

In 2011 she was awarded the Economist’s Nico Colchester Fellowship. As a journalist, she has worked for Reuters, the Wall Street Journal, and Bloomberg. She is the co-author of the best-selling book “The Last Bluff.”

She mentors students applying to Oxbridge and those interested in the fields of economics and journalism.

Achilleas studied Economics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He holds a Master’s in Applied Economics from the University of Michigan.

He specializes in revenue management, and for the last year and half he has been working as a Senior Analyst in the field of revenue analysis & strategy for American Airlines.

He mentors students pursuing studies in Economics and Business, as well as those interested in studying in the State of Michigan.

Eva studied Business Management at the University of Kent; she then earned a Master’s in Economics and Strategy for Business from Imperial College London.

She specializes in sales & corporate strategy, has worked for companies such as Deloitte and Moody’s, and is currently Head of Special Projects at TUI (group strategy and M&A).

She mentors students who are interested in pursuing a career in finance.

Vassilis studied Mechanical Engineering at City, University of London and went on to complete an MSc in the same field at UCL. He completed his academic career with a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering at Imperial College London.

Vassilis is specialized in mechanical engineering and fluid mechanics, but has been working in the shipping industry for many years. He currently works as a Dry Cargo Broker for Cyprus Sea Lines.

He mentors students interested in becoming Brokers, but also students with a Ph.D. who do not wish to pursue a career in academia.

Orestis studied Civil Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with an emphasis on Transport and Project Management.

He is a Ph.D. student in Transport Engineering at the University of Florida; his research aspires to increase traffic safety and promote the integration of autonomous vehicles. Simultaneously, he works on a project for Florida’s Department of Transportation.

He mentors students interested in further studies in the field of Civil Engineering in the States, as well as those interested in studying at the University in Florida in general.

Aris studied Economics at the Panteion University and then completed a postgraduate degree in Maritime Studies at City, University of London.

He specializes in maritime economics and operations in shipping. He has worked for large shipping companies, such as Starbulk, and is currently a Fleet Operator for Blue Planet Shipping.

He mentors students interested in the shipping industry, especially those interested in shipping operations.

Aris has studied at the University of Macedonia in the Department of Business Administration. He is a graduate student at Tufts University, where he studies International Business.

He is the founder of Renthis2me, a start-up inspired by the sharing economy, and Young and Curious, an online community for “restless youths.” He has participated in numerous successful political campaigns in various roles.

He mentors students interested in studying Business, Entrepreneurship, and Political Science.

Tassos studied Electrical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens. He then went on to study at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), where he completed his graduate studies in Aeronautical Engineering. Finally, he earned his Ph.D. in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Tokyo (UTokyo), thanks to a scholarship from the Japanese government (MEXT).

He started his career in Japan in the field of orbital vehicle simulation; he currently lives in Greece.

He mentors students interested in studying in Japan.

Alexandra studied Economics at the Athens University of Economy and Business. Subsequently, she completed an MSc in International Finance & Banking at the Cass Business School, as well as an MBA at SDA Bocconi University.

She works at a multinational pharmaceutical company, where she is Head of the Financial Administration for the country of Poland.

Alexandra mentors students interested in finance and the healthcare sector, as well as students interested in the Cass Business School and Bocconi University.

Zisis studied Electrical Engineering at the Technical University of Athens and holds an MSc in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University and an MSc in Computer Science from Columbia University.

He has worked for companies such as Tesla and Goldman Sachs as a Software Engineer and is currently a Sales Engineer at Google.

He mentors students interested in studying or pursuing a career in tech/programming, as well as students interested in studying in the U.S. in general.

Errikos holds an MEng in Aeronautical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Aerospace Vehicle Design from Imperial College London.

He has been part of Imperial College’s staff for over eight years and is currently a Senior Teaching Fellow and Director of UG Studies in the field of Aeronautics. Moreover, he is a member of the Royal Aeronautical Society and a licensed pilot.

Errikos mentors students interested in pursuing a career in the aerospace industry or those who wish to apply to Imperial College London.

Andreas has an MSc in Physics from Imperial College London and a Ph.D. in Optics from the University of Rochester.

He is a specialist in the field of optics and lasers and has worked as a Research Associate for Brookhaven National Laboratory; his research has been referenced over 300 times. At the moment he is a Research Fellow at the Harvard Medical School.

Andreas mentors students interested in pursuing an academic career in Physics and students who wish to apply to the universities of Harvard and Rochester.

Nikolas completed his BSc in Marketing & Entrepreneurship at Wharton School (UPenn) and then his MBA at INSEAD.

He specializes in marketing strategy and entrepreneurship and has worked for companies such as Johnson & Johnson and Apple. He is currently the Senior Manager and Head of Strategic Projects for Loumidis Coffee Shops company.

Nikolas mentors students who wish to study at Wharton School and INSEAD, as well as individuals interested in entrepreneurship.

Manolis studied Law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and then completed an LLM at LSE. Moreover, he holds an MBA from Stanford University.

Despite his background in law, he has worked in companies such as Google, Fathom Health, and UBER, where he is Director of EMEA Operations. Manolis has a strong entrepreneurial skillset, as he is the co-founder of lawspot.gr and Wanderness.

He mentors students interested in the tech industry and those applying for an MBA/MSc at Stanford.

Eleni studied Economics at the University of Bristol and then Management at the University of Edinburgh.

She specializes in financial analysis and market research, having worked as a Business Planning Analyst and Account Manager for different multinational companies. At present, she works for Mondelez International.

Eleni mentors students who wish to apply to the universities of Bristol and Edinburgh and those interested in a career in management in multinational companies.

Nikos studied Business Administration at the University of Piraeus, and he holds an MA in Strategy & International Management from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.

For the last three years, he has been working for technology start-ups with a focus on the fields of machine learning and AI.

He mentors students interested in management or a combination between management and tech, as well as those interested in a career in tech start-ups or business positions in tech companies.

Kelly studied at the School of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens; she holds a Master’s in Architecture from the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL.

She has worked for many architecture firms and is currently a Senior Architect at Zaha Hadid Architects.

Kelly mentors students interested in academic studies or a career in architecture and those who wish to pursue an MArch/MSc at Bartlett.

Evdoxia studied at the University of Thessaly in the Department of Primary Education and then went on to receive an MA in Technology and Education from University College, London.

She works in the Department of Government Affairs and Public Policy of Google in Brussels, focusing on digital policy in the EU. In the past, she worked for the equivalent department of Microsoft and for the European Commission (DG Justice and Consumers). Moreover, she conducted research in digital technologies and education in London.

Evdoxia mentors students interested in a career in EU public policy, EU policy making, and government affairs.

Andreas studied Business Administration at the Athens University of Economics and Business and then went on to an MSc in International Healthcare Management at SDA Bocconi.

He specializes in management consulting and project planning and has worked as Project Manager in the pharmaceutical industry. He is currently the Deputy CEO at the Pan-Arcadian General Hospital of Tripoli.

Alexandros studied Applied Mathematics and Physics at the National Technical University of Athens and then earned an MA in Shipping, Trade & Finance from Cass Business School.

Nikolas studied at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens. At the moment, he is pursuing his doctoral studies in Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University. His research focuses on developing machine learning techniques in neuroimaging to study human behavior, in particular in relation to rapid decision-making.

Ileana has an LLB from the University of Essex, and she completed her license/Master 1 at L'Université Paris Nanterre. Moreover, she holds an LLM in Environmental Law and Policy from UCL.

She has been practicing law for over a decade and is currently an Associate Corporate Counsel at Legg Mason.

She is a mentor for those who wish to study Law, particularly overseas.

Eirini studied Civil Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens and earned her Master’s from the Delft University of Technology.

She has worked both as a Site and Project Engineer for top construction firms, such as DEME Group and Van Oord. Currently, she works as Project Controls Manager for Archirodon Group NV.

She mentors students interested in civil engineering and offshore engineering, as well as those interested in pursuing studies at Delft University and Holland in general.

Christina studied Economics at UCL and then completed a postgraduate degree in Real Estate Development at Columbia University (GSAPP).

She specializes in entrepreneurship and marketing strategy and is the co-founder and CEO of the Greek lifestyle brand APOELLA, which has stores in some of the most prestigious hotels in Greece, including Costa Navarino and Sani Resort.

Christina mentors women interested in entrepreneurship, who aspire to start their own companies in Greece and abroad.

Alexandros studied Engineering and Business Studies at the University of Warwick and then completed an MSc in Business Administration and Management at LSE.

His career in the fields of business development and project management spans many years, and he is currently Operations Director at Algosystems S.A., where he has led projects in cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, and cloud solutions.

Lambis studied Business Administration at the Freie Universität Berlin and then received an MSc in International Finance from the HEC Paris.

He is currently a Strategy and M&A Analyst at DWS (Deutsche Bank Asset Management), while in the past, he’s worked in the fields of investment banking and private equity.

Vasilis worked as a Consultant for Accenture. Subsequently, he specialized in corporate finance (M&A and valuations) at Deloitte, as well as private equity, by working for analogous hedge funds in London.

He is currently part of a start-up company in the field of healthcare in the United States.

Giorgos studied at the University of Piraeus’s Department of Banking and Financial Management. Subsequently, he completed a graduate degree in Shipping, Trade & Finance at the Cass Business School.

Giorgos has been working in the shipping industry for more than 10 years, for companies such as Trafigura and Thalkat Shipping. At the moment, he is a Dry Cargo Operator for Meda Maritime Agency.

Malvina studied Business Administration at the Athens University of Economics and Business and then completed an MSc in Human Resource Management at the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM), Erasmus University.

Having worked for multinational companies in Greece and Holland, she specializes in talent acquisition, learning & development, and organizational development & engagement. She is currently an HR Partner at Elpedison.

Maria studied Communication and Business at the American College of Greece-DEREE and then earned a MSc in Sustainability Science and Policy at Maastricht University.

She is currently a Ph.D. student at Utrecht University, and her research focuses on the sustainability of the European food industry.

Gerasimos studied Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens and is a doctoral student in Computer Science at Rutgers University. His research interests are focused on multimodal machine learning with an emphasis on the intersection between natural language processing and computer vision.
